Download the FUJIFILM Dimatix Materials Printer DMP-2800 Series User Manual,or search and download other millions of manuals/guides/handbooks from. – FUJIFILM Dimatix, Inc. Announces the new Dimatix Material Printer DMP-2850, with innovative features and enhanced performance for technology development in printed electronics, displays, and beyond, which is an upgraded and enhanced version of the industry leading inkjet deposition research platform, the DMP-2831.
Ideal applications for the materials printer include: • Material and fluid development and evaluation • Prototype and sample generation • Fluid and substrate interactions evaluation • Product development • Optimization and evaluation of digital patterns • Deposition of biological fluids including cell patterning, DNA arrays, proteomics The DMP-2850 allows the deposition of fluidic materials on an 8x11 inch or A4 substrate, utilizing a disposable piezo inkjet cartridge. This printer can create and define patterns over an area of about 200 x 300 mm and handle substrates up to 25 mm thick with an adjustable Z height. The temperature of the vacuum platen, which secures the substrate in place, can be adjusted up to 60°C.
The DMP-2850 offers a variety of patterns using a pattern editor program. Additionally, a waveform editor and a drop-watch camera system allows manipulation of the electronic pulses to the piezo jetting device for optimization of the drop characteristics as it is ejected from the nozzle. This system enables easy printing of structures and samples for process verification and prototype creation. 12 korolevstv kniga. Fiducial camera features: • Provides substrate rotation alignment using reference marks • Allows positioning of the print origin to match substrate placement • Provides measurement of features and locations • Provides inspection and image capture of printed pattern or drops • Provides cartridge alignment when using multiple cartridges • Allows matching drop placement to previously patterned substrate The most unique feature of this table top printing system is the printhead itself - a world first! FUJIFILM Dimatix has created a MEMS-based cartridge-style printhead that allows users to fill their own fluids and print immediately with the DMP in their own laboratory.
To minimize waste of expensive fluids, each cartridge reservoir has a capacity of 1.5 ml. Cartridges can easily be replaced to facilitate printing of a series of fluids. Each single-use cartridge has 16 nozzles linearly spaced at 254 microns with typical drop sizes of 1 and 10 picoliters. Dimatix Materials Cartridge The Dimatix Materials Cartridge is a snap-in replaceable printhead used with both DMP models and is available in 1 pL and 10 pL drop volumes. Based on FUJIFILM Dimatix' proprietary silicon MEMS technology, the 16-jet Dimatix Materials Cartridge is designed for high-resolution, non-contact jetting of functional fluids in a broad range of applications. The industry-first 1 pL cartridge can deposit features as small as 20 μm (20 millionths of a meter) to fabricate products such as organic thin-film transistors (TFTs) and printed circuits.
